With pops of royal blue with the perfect amount of southern charm, this July 1st wedding left everyone feeling the fireworks between Megan and Richard.

From their first visit, we fell in love with these two and waited anxiously to hear back from them. Both Juli and I were so excited the soon-to-be Wilsons chose us to be a part of their big day.

Megan’s contagious smile and bubbly personality made her a dream to work with throughout the planning process. She is truly beautiful inside and out and my goodness she was stunning on her wedding day. Her bohemian inspired updo with a messy braid and flawless makeup done by Heather from Everson and McKinley Salon were perfect. Megan wore a fit and flare styled gown, paired royal blue heels and tear drop earrings. Megan’s best friends and bridesmaids wore royal blue dress to tie in the pop of color.

Megan and Richard’s ten year-old boys were included in every part of their wedding. Aiden, Megan’s son had the chance to do a “first look” with his mom and had the privilege of walking her down the aisle. Maybe that’s why Richard got so emotional? As soon as Megan and Aiden turned the corner, Richard lost it. A groom’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is what guests come to see. By the time Aiden gave Megan away, Richard could no longer keep it together.

Richard wasn’t the only one. During the vows both Aiden and Bryce, Richard’s son, who stood by his side, kept trying to play it cool like they weren’t crying but both of them were struggling to keep it together. After the first dance, Megan danced with both of the boys to Rascal Flats, My Wish For You. Boys always hold a special place in a Momma’s heart.

Baby’s breath and white hydrangeas in tall cylinder vases made up some of the centerpieces. On all of the round tables, Megan used some of our lanterns and votives to mix up the look. As favors with doubled as place cards, Megan used mason jars with mini chalk labels on them and wrote all of her guest names on them.

This now family of four announced that it would quickly become a family of five! Only a select few knew that Megan and Richard were expecting before the wedding, so when Richard made the announcement everyone just cheered!
