April Farmhouse Wedding | Sandy & Tyler

Our first out-of-state bride, who booked the venue site unseen, turned her creative Pinterest vision into a magical, Springtime wedding. Her dream wedding day was full of fresh flowers, rustic and charming elements and ideal weather. Sandy left no detail untouched and everywhere guests turned, they felt enveloped in the love shared between Sandy and Tyler.

This wedding held a new first for us, booking the venue, site unseen! It’s a bold move but perhaps Sandy felt ok doing so because she and Juli spent hours discussing the details of her day via text, email and phone calls. Not to mention, she could rely on our pictures to showcase the true beauty of our venue. Sandy & Tyler live in Pennsylvania but she grew up in Macon and still has family here in Georgia, so the plan was to come home to say “I do”. It was several months after booking that Sandy and Tyler were able to make a trip to Georgia and come see in person where they would be tying the knot.

Sandy was a Pinterest bride like most nowadays, but she was able to pull off her pins and nothing was a fail. She knew exactly how she wanted everything to be and it was a gorgeous day filled with some amazing details.

A wooden cross draped with an Eucalyptus laurel and fresh blooms are what stood tall behind Sandy and Tyler as they became husband and wife. Their bridal party was one of the biggest we had so far. Sandy is one of 8 siblings, so of course everyone had to be incorporated into their day, then you add in some of their closest friends, for a total of 10 on each side standing next to them.

This was our first wedding where only a few of our furniture pieces were used. Sandy and Tyler opted to rent farmhouse tables and maple wooden chairs from a rental company in Griffin, GA – Shade Tree Rentals. The tables were gorgeous inside the barn paired with Eucalyptus laurel runners and fresh blooms handmade by Britt, owner of Marigold and Moss. Britt also designed three gold hoops with fresh blooms to hang down from the beams inside the barn. Every detail of the reception was well thought out and Sandy’s vision of her day came together beautifully.

We also had the pleasure of working with Sandy’s planner and cousin Brooke. We learned so much from her and gained new tools to help us in the future.
