APRIL & OMAR
by Kristi Moore
Believe it or not, it’s rare for Juli and I to meet the groom on the tour. Sometimes we don’t even meet the groom until wedding day. So, when we do get the chance to meet him on the initial tour, we feel like we get know the couple a little better.
When you see a groom look at his bride as if she is on a pedestal, it is one of the sweetest things. When the groom is just as excited as the bride to book our venue, it makes the moment feel so special. Omar fit that to a T. I don’t speak Spanish, so I have no idea what Omar was saying when he called to tell his parents, who live in Puerto Rico, that he and April have set a date, I could hear the excitement in his voice.
One of our easiest final meetings so far have been with April. She kept everything simple and wanted to just celebrate the day with friends and family. Even when her wedding cake arrived turned over, her reaction was “it will still be good”. I think I panicked more then she did. I have to say, the baker was able to fix most of it and they still got to cut the cake.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fuentes, we enjoyed being a part of your wedding.
