Ansley + Jordan’s May 13th wedding was filled with contagious smiles and lots of love. These two were one of our youngest couples we’ve had say ‘I do’ and I am so excited to share details from their day!
The Hickmans decided to have the rehearsal dinner onsite catered by Southern Pit. Jordan’s mom, Brandi, put together the centerpieces, a combination of lanterns and magnolia leaves, perfect for a casual rehearsal dinner. Both families were such a joy to be around, it’s always fun to get a head start on the celebration.
Heather, owner of H Design is a friend of Ansley’s family and from the beginning was a part of their planning process and big day. Heather wore all of the hats. She was Ansley’s florist, coordinator and handled the correspondences with vendors, she was a part of all details, big and thanks to her the day was beautiful.
Ansley and Jordan were surrounded by friends and family, there were a total of 20 in their wedding party. From the time I walked in that morning to check on Ansley, the smile on her face was just contagious. I am not sure I ever saw Ansley without a smile, even the day she toured, to booking and during the final meeting. Her sweet, bubbly personality never went away. Jordan is one lucky guy, that says a lot when we all know how stressful wedding planning can be on a bride.
Like most of our couples the soon to be Hickmans decided to say ‘I do’ under our pecan tree. Ansley’s dad, Tim, built a wooden cross to have in front of the tree. Heather created a greenery loral to drape on the cross. It was very pretty!
The reception was just as pretty, white linens on all the tables and wooden boxes with white hydrangeas made up some of the centerpieces. The longer tables had greenery runners with the bridesmaids bouquets in vases on the tables. Tim, owns Cravings in McDonough so it was only fitting to have him caterer the wedding. That food was delicious y’all! I have to say “y’all” because it was really yummy southern cooking!
